Comics: Shading & Depth

Instructors: Serena Tang and Tayson Martindale

This is an intermediate workshop for ages 14+.

In this workshop we will be elevating our drawing skills and adding shadows and highlights to give your comics some dimension!
We will teach you the basic ideas of shadows, how to put them into your drawings without getting overwhelmed, and show how working with dark and light tones will make your comic universe so much more dynamic.

Please bring a sketchpad, pens, pencils, and eraser with you to the workshop. All other supplies will be provided.

Workshop policies

• Preregistration is required
• You will receive an email from yourfriends@rollingtales.ca with an invoice with payment instructions.
• Registration is not confirmed until payment is received.

Cancellation policy:

• If you must cancel your workshop, we require at least 24 hours notice and will apply your payment as a credit on your account to be used in-store or for your next workshop.
• Credits will not be issued if the cancellation takes place within 24 hours of the workshop.
