Intermediate Basing Techniques with Figuratively Speaking Minis

This is an intermediate course for adding basing materials to your miniature figures. In this class we will talk about where to source materials, how to treat them, and how to build the base adding visual interest. You will have the opportunity to build 2-3 bases from different environments.

January 21st's theme: fantasy, water, & forests.

March 24th theme: scifi, industrial, & battle worn.

May 19th theme: TBD!

All basing supplies are provided and bases will be 40mm scale.

About the Instructor:

Hello! I am Courtney and I paint and create mini things! I want to share my passion for this hobby with you because it allows me to be creative and be in a space that my head can relax. Sometimes when my life becomes chaotic or stressful we need a place to go to and that for me is hobbying. I have been painting and teaching for 3 years and couldn't love it more.
I hope through my passion for this hobby you feel safe to explore your creativity, know that it doesn't always have to be perfect, and mistakes are a good thing.

Workshop policies

• Masks are mandatory for the duration of all workshops.

• Registration is not confirmed until payment is received.

Cancellation policy:

• If you must cancel your workshop, we require at least 24 hours notice and will apply your payment as a credit on your account to be used in-store or for your next workshop.
• Credits will not be issued if the cancellation takes place within 24 hours of the workshop.
