Sure, painted miniatures look great, but how do you even paint something that tiny? In Miniature Painting Basics you'll learn that not only can you paint miniatures, you can make them look great! The only thing stopping you from having a game table full of exciting, colourful minis is only a confidence-boosting session with experienced painters away!
Jeff Martin has been painting miniatures for nearly 25 years, and painting them well for the last four or five. He is also a professional comic artist with many books available at Rolling Tales, though he promises that's not a requirement to succeed in this class. He will be your valiant instructor, offering such wisdom as "don't worry about what it looks like up close, worry about what it looks like from three feet away" and "don't accidentally drink the paint water."
Stalwart Assistant Caitlin thought miniature painting would be too hard for her, until she actually tried it and realized it was way easier than she expected, and a lot of fun! She's been painting for a few years, now, and understands how to overcome the doubts of a new painter.
You will be provided with a mini figure to paint, a brush, and the paints to complete your first miniature!
