This year marks the fifth year anniversary of the annual Art for Heart fundraiser in support of the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation! Over the last 4 years of operating, we have been able to raise over $21,500 for the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation, last year being the best so far at just over $6,500!
What is the Event?
Silent Auction, Live in person Art Battle, and Live Music
What activities will be held before/during the event?
The silent auction will run the entire 2 weeks, starting Sun Nov 14th @ 6:00pm and ending Sun Nov 28th @ 6:00pm.
Bidding will be available both in store and online.
The live art battle and live music will take place Sat Nov 20th between 1:00pm and 5:30pm.
Items will range from amazing original artwork, art prints, gift cards, and other various items and merchandise from local businesses as well as artists from all over Canada and beyond! Also set up in store will be the stunning custom framed original Star Wars pencil art drawn by Robert Bailey and donated by an anonymous source, to be awarded to one lucky winner of the Gummie Guessing Game. Tickets for the Robert Bailey Star Wars original pencil art will be on sale in-store until the silent auction closes on Nov. 28th at 6:00pm.
Edmonton's own Daniel Schneider (known by most as Cowboy Dan or the artist with that cute dog Hobbes), one of the artists that will be in the art battle, will also be doing not just one but two live streams on Twitch, Friday November 19th (from RT HQ, stop by and say, "hi!") and Friday November 26th, where he will be drawing a blank comic sketch cover complete from start to finish for your entertainment and bidding pleasure!
How will funds be raised?
Through cash/online donations, silent auction, and live auction of art created during the art battle.

Art for Heart was started by David Tuff as a way to give back to the Stollery Children's Hospital for all the amazing care and support over the years since his youngest daughter was born in 2014. Calla Tuff (nicknamed Calla Bear) was born with a rare heart defect along with multiple other health concerns and the Stollery Children's Hospital has been a 2nd home to the Tuff family. Calla has had multiple open heart surgeries, stomach surgery, and physical rehabilitation at the Stollery. Through these hard times, beyond the ability to put into words just how hard, the entire staff of Nurses, Doctors, Technicians, and everyone else we've interacted with at the Stollery has made those times a little bit easier.
