Comic Arts: Lettering and Effects ABCs for Age 13+

This is an introductory workshop of ages 13+ 

We're going work on the 26 characters (plus some punctuation and special characters) that help us tell our stories! While not all comics need to have text, it's a huge part of comic writing to show how your characters express themselves and how they interact with others.

Did you know that there are tips and tricks that can make your lettering easier to write and read? We will show you this and practice how to lay out our text during our workshop!

Please bring sketchbook and pens or pencils of your choice. The instructor will provide scrap paper, pencils, basic colouring tools.

Pre-registration is required. Registration closes 24 hours prior to the event. Space is limited, register early!

Workshop policies: 

• Pre-registration is required, space is limited! Register early!
• You will receive an email from us with an invoice and payment instructions.
• Registration is not confirmed until payment is received.
• If we do not receive payment 24 hours prior to the workshop taking place your spot will be forfeit. 
• If you must cancel your workshop we require at least 24 hours notice and will apply your payment as a credit on your account to be used in-store or for your next workshop. 
• Credits will not be issued if the cancellation takes place within 24 hours of the workshop taking place.
