Are you ready to start your dive into miniature painting? Don't know where to start, what to buy and how to use a paint brush? Welcome to our Introduction to Miniature Painting.

Instructor: Courtney from Figuratively Speaking Minis

This is an introductory workshop for anyone 14+ who are interested in miniature painting, or players of TTRPGs that would like to add some colour to their game table. In this class you will provide a figure you would like to apply paint to and learn the process from start to finish on how to do so. We will cover care and prep of a model, base painting, and simple washes and dry brushing. You will have a completed model by the end of the class.

All paint supplies and brushes are supplied, you will get to pick out and purchase your mini or bring your own!

Preregistration is required. We will email to confirm your registration and collect payment.

About the Instructor:

Hello! I am Courtney and I paint and create mini things! I want to share my passion for this hobby with you because it allows me to be creative and be in a space that my head can relax. Sometimes when my life becomes chaotic or stressful we need a place to go to and that for me is hobbying. I have been painting and teaching for 3 years and couldn't love it more.
I hope through my passion for this hobby you feel safe to explore your creativity, know that it doesn't always have to be perfect, and mistakes are a good thing.
